How do I book a ride?
Visit our booking page at kariburides.com/book, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, select a date and time, choose a vehicle, and confirm. You will receive an instant quote and booking confirmation.
How much does an airport transfer cost?
Prices depend on your pickup and destination locations, vehicle type, and distance. Use our online booking engine to get an instant quote. All prices are fixed — the price you see is the price you pay.
What is the Meet & Greet service?
With our Meet & Greet service, your driver waits inside the arrivals hall at JKIA holding a placard with your name. They will help with your luggage and escort you to the vehicle. This service costs an additional KES 500.
Do you monitor flights?
Yes. For airport pickups, we monitor your flight status in real time. If your flight is delayed or arrives early, we adjust the pickup time accordingly at no extra charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (KES or USD) on arrival, M-Pesa mobile money, and card payments via Paystack. You can choose your preferred payment method during booking.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. You can cancel your booking at any time. For 'Pay on Arrival' bookings, no cancellation fee applies. For pre-paid bookings, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days.
How long will the driver wait?
For airport pickups, complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes from flight landing is included. For other pickups, 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time applies. Additional waiting time may be charged at the prevailing rate.
What vehicles do you offer?
We offer a range of vehicles including saloon cars (up to 3 passengers), SUVs and station wagons (up to 4 passengers), and vans (up to 7 passengers). All vehicles are air-conditioned and well-maintained.
Are your drivers licensed?
Yes. All Karibu Rides drivers are properly licensed, professionally trained, and familiar with Nairobi and Kenya routes. Safety is our top priority.
Do you offer long-distance transfers?
Yes. We provide private transfers to destinations across Kenya including Naivasha, Nanyuki, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, and safari destinations. Prices are fixed and quoted upfront.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. During booking, you can enter the passenger's name and contact details separately from your billing information. Ideal for arranging transport for guests, colleagues, or family members.
Do you offer child seats?
Yes. Child and booster seats are available upon request. Please indicate the need for a child seat during the booking process so we can ensure availability.
What if my flight is delayed?
We monitor all incoming flights. If your flight is delayed, we will adjust your pickup time accordingly at no extra cost. You do not need to contact us — we track it automatically.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2 hours before your desired pickup time. However, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings depending on vehicle availability.
Is my booking information secure?
Yes. Our website uses HTTPS encryption and we follow strict data protection practices. Payment information is processed by secure, PCI-compliant payment partners and is never stored on our servers.
